Frequently Asked Questions
Over the years, many have taken the time to ask me questions about the CRP, my site and just me in general. I've taken the liberty of selecting some of the most common questions for you to browse through in case you've got a burning question that may have been asked before.
Q. Can you give me some more advice?
A. All of the advice I could possibly give you is right here on this website. Unfortunately asking for more advice would be wringing out a dry sponge. I hope that everything you're looking for is already on Adam Does Disney somewhere.
Q. Why didn't you do your second program in 2015?
A. A few months before beginning my second program, I was hired by Disney in a role at the company headquarters. However, I did end-up returning to Disney in 2017 for a second program. Videos of which are on my YouTube Channel.
Q. When do the applications open?
A. Your guess is as good as mine when it comes to this. Yummy Jobs will decide this internally and then announce it with enough notice for you to have a couple of weeks to submit your application. Make sure you're following Yummy Jobs on social media for all the latest news. Typically you can expect to see one recruitment in Summer/Autumn and one in Winter/Spring.
Q. How many people make it through to the program?
A. Approximately 100-200 cast members work in the UK pavilion at any one time. The capacity of the pavilion obviously fluctuates throughout the year and the number of people being taken through to the program varies on this. For more information, visit The Result advice page.
Q. Why is Yummy Jobs/Disney doing <Insert Thing>?
A. As much as I know about the application process, I do not work for Yummy Jobs/Disney recruitment, I do not have exclusive discussions with the recruitment team or work in recruitment. I'm afraid my ability to mind read is somewhat lax. Should you have an appropriate question, I'd recommend contacting Yummy Jobs/Disney directly.
Q. The <Inset Page Title> page is closed at the moment, when will it be open?
A. Please know that occasionally pages will close whilst I work on brining you up-to-date advice and information. Pages may also be closed as the page has not yet been complete and is a new page coming soon or has since been closed for my own reasons.
Q. Can you work outside of the UK Pavilion?
A. I'm afraid not on the CRP. The visa that allows you to work on the CRP is specific to that work location for the purpose of representing your culture. If you're studying in university though, you can take part in Disney's International College Program or Cultural Exchange Program to work in alternative locations. My knowledge of these programs isn't wide so it's best to look elsewhere for information on these.
